Goenkaracho Ekvot

Description

Goenkaracho Ekvot, meaning "Unity of Goans," was established by Suman Kurade in Delhi to bring together the Goan diaspora. It organizes cultural events like the Goa Festival, celebrating Goan music, food, and traditions. The organization actively promotes the Konkani language and Goan heritage. It also advocates for community spaces like the Goa Sadan in Delhi to become cultural hubs. Now led by Sagar Kurade, it continues to unite Goans and spread awareness about their unique identity. Goenkaracho Ekvot also participates in national events like World Goa Day to showcase Goan pride.
