Subsidy and for Clay Idol Makers

Description

Provides subsidy for making clay idols. The subsidy is Rs. 200/- per idol, up to a maximum of 250 idols per artisan.The scheme has been made available for the first 388 artisans. A budgetary provision of Rs. 120 lakhs has been made.For the last four years, GHRSSIDC has been distributing the subsidy to the following beneficiaries as listed below:

For the year 2024-25, GHRSSIDC has received 428 application forms for the Clay Idol Scheme. Subsidy will be disbursed in the month of January 2025. GHRSSIDC is also distributing pugmill clay mixing machines to artisans who are registered with the GHRSSIDC under the Clay Idol Making Scheme, as per their request and requirement. The above machine will help clay idol makers to expedite the work of clay Ganesh idols. As on date, we have distributed 114 nos. of pugmill machines to the artisans, amounting to Rs. 40.00 lakhs.
